Day 01: Arrive Delhi.
Upon arrival and after clearing immigration and customs you will be met and transferred to your Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi.
New Delhi tour this morning, visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, Visit 800-year-old Qutab Minar,
Tour Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad) this afternoon to see the Red Fort from outside, the palace for the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy a rikshaw ride through the Chandni Chowk market (old shopping market) on to Jama Masjid, visit Raj Ghat, a memorial to the great Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra
The morning we will drive to Agra ((Expressway- 3 hours). Arrive Agra and our representative will assist you for check-in at Hotel, During the medieval period, Agra earned prominence as a capital city under the Mughals.
Afternoon we will visit the Agra fort-the massive red sandstone Mughal Fort with our local guide.
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunset, a ‘unique’ experience as the gleaming white marble first takes on a rich golden sheen, then slowly- a perfect photography opportunity.
Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur.
Early morning re-visit the Taj Mahal for a photo opportunity at sunrise. Later drive to Jaipur (5 hours), visiting en-route Fatehpur Sikri, the once-fabled Mughal capital. Continue drive to Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
Check-out from the hotel we travel just north of Jaipur to visit Amber Fort We will enjoy riding on elegantly caparisoned elephants.
Afternoon we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jaipur city, visiting Jantar Mantar, We will also see the ornate and elaborate Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal, a famous landmark of Jaipur, and the City Palace.
Day 06: Jaipur – Pushkar
Morning drive to Pushkar (4 hours).
Afternoon we will visit the camel trading center, enjoy a camel or camel cart ride, walk through the colorful ‘bazaars’, visit the Brahma Temple, and the ‘ghats’, bathing steps of the holy Pushkar Lake, absolute photographers delight.
Day 07: Pushkar – Jodhpur
We drive to Jodhpur today (4 hours).
Afternoon we will visit the Meherangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, a memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace museum exhibiting the priceless collection of the royal family of Jodhpur.
Post lunch we will explore the downtown Clock Tower market where we will see the colorful spices shops, vegetable markets, textile, and silver markets. have a demonstration on hand painting it is the art of ‘Mehndi’ with natural Heena powders.
Day 08: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer
Morning drives deeper into the Rajasthani countryside to Jaisalmer (4-5 hours).
Watch the sunset from atop a hill, for a grand view of the Jaisalmer Fort.
Day 09: Jaisalmer
Today we will visit the 12- century Jaisalmer Fort, Visit Gadi Sagar, the water reservoir which was once the water supply of the city and has many small temples and shrines around it. Walk through the old city and visit some of the Havelis (ancestral homes) such as Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli, and Nathmal ki Haveli. Later go deeper into the desert to Khuri, with houses of mud and straw decorated like the patterns of Persian carpets. Explore the village, where brightly clad women and painted adobe walls dazzle against the desert hues.
Day 10: Jaisalmer – Bikaner
We drive to Bikaner today (5-6 hours). The city got this name during the time of Rajput Prince Rao Bikaji, he was the founder of the city Bikaner in 1488 AD.
Afternoon we will visit the Jain temples and visit the Camel breeding Farm.
Day 11: Bikaner – Manvar
Morning drive to Manvar (4 hours). Manvar is an ideal base to explore Indian desert life, Late afternoon, enjoy a camel safari in the sand dunes and return to your camp after sunset.
Day 12: Manvar
The morning we will participate in one of the most interesting features of this tour, a village safari where you will experience, first hand, the authentic rural life of India not often seen by many tourists. . We will visit the Bishnoi villages, who greet visitors by offering a swig of opium.
Day 13: Manvar – Jodhpur – Amritsar.
Morning drive to Jodhpur and fly Amritsar via Delhi.
Founded in 1577 by Ram Das, the fourth guru of the Sikhs, Amritsar is both the center of Sikh religion and the major city of the Punjab state. Literally, the Meaning of the Amritsar is ‘Pool of Nectar’ referring to the holy tank around which the Sikhs Golden Temple is built.
Day 14: Amritsar
Morning tour of Amritsar city including a visit to the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana temple, etc.
Afternoon Pickup from your hotel and proceed to see the flag down ceremony at the Wagah Indo-Pakistan border.
Day 15: Amritsar – Delhi – Varanasi
The morning flies to Varanasi via Delhi. Varanasi is one of the oldest and most fascinating cities in India. Varanasi is the holiest city for Hindus. Arrive at Varanasi Airport and our representative welcome you and transfer to Hotel to relaxing.
Today late evening will enjoy a cruise to witness the evening prayers ceremonies on the ghats-(steps leading to the water) of the river Ganges.
Day 16: Varanasi
Early morning boat ride on the Ganges River, return to the hotel for breakfast, after breakfast, we will visit the city, which includes a visit to Bharat Mata Temple relief map of India and a drive through the Benares Hindu University, Visit a silk factory with a demonstration on the various stages of ‘sericulture’, designing and manufacturing process. Afternoon visit Sarnath and its fine museum.
Day 17: Varanasi – Delhi (Departure)
Today fly to Delhi and remain in transit to connect home bound flight.
