This is one of the most exuberant and also the most colorful festivals.  It is information of the begin of spring and the finish of winter. It is celebrated by throwing water and colored powder at each other. On the eve of Holi, the fires are built to symbolize the destruction of the evil demon Holika. The royal family of Udaipur hosts a spectacular colorful event at the City Palace complex. This festival is the best experience in Udaipur and nearby towns.

DAY 1:  Arrival at Delhi

Landed in Delhi and our executive give you a traditional welcome and transfer to the hotel. Room available from 1400 hours. Delhi

DAY 2: Delhi

Breakfast. In the morning we head to the modern part of Delhi; New Delhi. We visit Qutub Minar, a gigantic 72m tower, built by the first Muslim ruler of India; Qutub-ud-din Aibak. We continue the visit with visit Humayun’s Tomb, Walk through the diplomatic area, government buildings, Rashtrapati Bhawan (residence of the President of India), the Parliament with its beautiful surroundings, and the India Gate (Arc of Triomphe) that always has guests in the form of the countrymen with their Dear/families, etc. In the afternoon we enter the Old part of Delhi where the environment is completely changed with crowded streets, places Going through the Red Fort, built by Mogol Emperor Shah Jahan and we enjoy a ride on a rickshaw (bike cart, pulled by man) in Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and largest bazaars in India. We got off the rickshaw and climbed the stairs a bit to enter the Jama Mosque, The day ends with a visit to Rajghat, the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated on January 31, 1948.

DAY 3: Delhi – Agra

Breakfast. In the morning departure by road to agra (Approx. 200 kms, 4 hours), Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), the most fascinating and beautiful monument in India. The Taj Mahal was completed in 1653 AD by Emperor Mogol Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite queen, Mumtaz Mahal. This perfectly symmetrical monument took 22 years of forced labor and 20,000 workers, masons and jewelers for construction and is in the middle of gardens. Then visit the Fort of Agra, an imposing fortress on the banks of the Yamuna River, built by Emperor Mogol Akbar, in 1565 AD.

DAY 4:  Agra – Jaipur

Breakfast, In the morning departure by road to Jaipur (Approx. 240 km, 5-6 hours), visiting on the Fatehpur Sikri route. Fatehpur Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals and was built by Emperor Mogol Akbar in 1564 AD. We will continue by road to Jaipur visiting the Abhaneri route, known for the imposing Boris Temple (built underground) and the Harshat Mata Temple. We will continue by road Jaipur, Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 5: Jaipur

Having Breakfast at Hotel and go to by car to visit  Amber Fort and enjoy an elephant ride. The Amber Fort, located on the picturesque and rugged hill, is a fascinating mix of Hindu and Mogol architecture. Then walk through the beautifully restored Jal Mahal, In the afternoon visit the City Palace and the museum. Visit the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds  Also visit the Jantar Mantar or the Astronomical Observatory.

DAY 6: Jaipur – Jodhpur

Breakfast. In the morning departure by road to Jodhpur (Approx. 340kms / 6 hours) a city located almost on the edge of the Thar desert, Upon arrival transfer to the hotel

DAY 7: Jodhpur

Breakfast. In the morning visit the Fort of Meherangarh, which has a crown of a perpendicular cliff, which was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD, Also visit Jaswant Thada, the white marble imposition memorial, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899. Later, visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and the museum to see a private collection of objects from the royal family of Jodhpur.

DAY 8:  Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur

Breakfast. In the morning departure by road to Udaipur (Approx 285kms, 5-6 hours) visiting en route the Jain temple in Ranakpur. The temple is an amazing creation of architectural splendor, with 29 rooms and 1,444 pillars all clearly carved, no two pillars are the same. After the visit we will continue by road to Udaipur,

In the afternoon tour that includes the walk along the Fateh Sagar lake and visit the Sahelion-ki-Bari or the ‘garden of the ladies’, built in the middle of the 18th century. Next boat cruise on the Pichola lake with visit to the Palace Jag Mandir.

DAY 09: Udaipur

Breakfast. In the morning visit the City Palace that was built in a fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles on top of a hill and offers panoramic views of Lake Pichola and Monsón Palace. Later, visit the Jagdish Temple, a temple of God Visnú. In the afternoon enjoy a great event at the Udaipur City Palace. There is a procession of the Maharaja (king) of Udaipur, followed by a traditional ceremony to start the Festival of Colors (Holi), music/dance programs inside the Palace followed by dinner included in the Palace.

DAY 10: Udaipur

Breakfast. In the morning enjoy the festival of colors “Holi” with local people with lunch included. “Holi”, the Festival of Colors is one of the most exuberant and also the most colorful festivals, announcing the arrival of spring and the end of winter. The whole country goes crazy at that party. People crowd in the street, run each other with bright colored powder or colored water jets especially at your fingertips. It is celebrated by throwing water and colored powder at each other. The party is celebrated with different traditional meals and they also visit the homes of friends and relatives.

DAY 11: Udaipur – Delhi

Breakfast. In the morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. When you will you reach Delhi, you will be received it by our representative and transfer to the hotel near the airport.

DAY 12:  Delhi  (Departure)

Breakfast. Room available until 1200 noon hours. At a convenient time transfer to the international airport for your return flight (must be presented at the airport 3 hours before the flight departure time).
